Dhikr literally meaning "remembrance, reminder" or "mention" is a form of Islamic meditation. 

Muslims believe dhikr is one of the best ways to enter the higher level of Heaven and to glorify the Monotheistic Oneness of God.

Helen Abbas explores the intricacies of contemporary Arabic calligraphy against a backdrop of vintage shades and texture.
Bold and visually arresting, the artwork use hand-crafted script in beautiful swathes and confident strokes.
