Founded in Dubai in 2020 by Syrian artists and designers Ghiath Lahham and Helen Abbas, TAG is built on nearly 20 years of experience creating art for discerning clients around the world. In 2024, the gallery expanded its journey to Canada, opening doors to a broader global reach and access to new creative resources, further strengthening its international presence.
Curated by its founders, The Art Gallery offers a distinctive selection of artworks designed for modern homes and contemporary spaces. Available in both open and limited editions, the collection combines fine giclée printing with hand-applied Acrylic paint embellishments and rich textural finishes—creating bold artistic statements while remaining accessible.
New artworks and innovative designs are introduced regularly, reflecting an evolving creative vision shaped by collaboration with artists and designers across the globe. Each piece is thoughtfully produced and securely delivered worldwide, ensuring a seamless experience from selection to arrival.

The Founders
Lead Artist & Co-Founder. Helen Abbas
Helen Abbas is a renowned Arabic artist and designer with a steadily growing international reputation. Originally from Syria, she moved to Dubai in 2000, where she established herself as a full-time artist for over two decades, drawing inspiration from the city’s dynamic and evolving creative landscape. In 2024, she relocated to Canada to continue her success story and pursue new horizons, collaborating with leading global interior design firms and designers. Her work has been exhibited in multiple cities worldwide—from Dubai to Florence, London, and New York—and is held in private and corporate collections across the globe.
Deeply personal in nature, Helen’s art reflects her life experiences, cultural influences, spirituality, and the people she encounters. Calligraphy, pattern, and design iconography are central to her practice, often layered intricately to create rich, immersive canvases.
Arabic calligraphy remains a defining element of Helen’s work. Her fascination with letterforms drives her to explore historical scripts, which she reinterprets through a contemporary, expressive lens. Each curve and composition reveals a balance between tradition and abstraction, inviting viewers into a visually and emotionally engaging experience.
Over the years, Helen has collaborated with both regional and international galleries, building a reputation as a highly collectible artist. Her artworks are featured in prestigious offices and institutions, as well as contemporary homes and luxury hospitality spaces worldwide.

Ghiath Lahham brings extensive experience across cultural retail, interior design, artistic curation, and art consultancy. His creative vision shapes every product within The Art Gallery, where he leads concept development, design execution, and commercial presentation. With a strong belief in the power of art and design to influence human behavior, Ghiath has built a reputation for delivering thoughtful, impactful work for both The Art Gallery and a diverse range of private and corporate clients. In 2024, he relocated to Canada with Helen Abbas to expand their global reach, access new creative resources, and continue growing their international presence.
With a foundation in interior design and a refined understanding of spatial aesthetics, Ghiath approaches art not only as a visual element but as an integral part of how environments are experienced. His passion for photography, typography, and graphic design drives him to create distinctive solutions grounded in strong conceptual thinking, cultural awareness, and meticulous craftsmanship.
Working closely with a curated network of collaborators, Ghiath leads the creative direction of The Art Gallery curating collections, commissioning artworks, and guiding the overall artistic vision. He collaborates with artists and designers to shape narratives, articulate creative intent, and oversee execution, ensuring every piece aligns with the gallery’s commitment to quality, originality, and meaningful design.
